Welcome to the official wiki of the Bionic Bruins! This page will be a basic guide on how to use the site, and all the features it contains so that you can use it to its full potential. Remember, this is a resource designed to help all club members improve.
You can find all our main pages on the sidebar to the left. If what you are looking for cannot be found there, consider using the search bar at the top right. You can view a complete index of all the sites at the Sitemap that can be located in the top right corner below the search bar.
Any member can create an account. You can edit and create pages once you have registered an account. You do not need an account to read the wiki, but we encourage members to provide new content to help our club grow.
To register for an account press the register button in the top right. When registering, your username can be anything appropriate, but please use your real name in the real name box. Any accounts with names that are not real will be removed. This is to ensure all edits can be tracked and we know who has made what changes.
Any registered user can edit any of the pages. This is to allow everyone to add content and fix mistakes. Please ensure that any content you are adding is relevant, factually correct, and in the proper location. You will also be provided with the option to add an edit summary. Please enter what was changed in this box for the organization of the wiki. You will also be able to mark an edit as a minor change. Please only check this for small edits such as grammar mistakes, and minor word changes.
To create a new page, enter the name of the page you would like to create into the search bar. It should then say “page not found” and have a link to create that page. To create a page within a category (eg. building) enter the category then semicolon then page name. For example to create a page called RobotC in the Coding category I would search for Coding:RobotC. To add the page to the sidebar, edit the Sidebar page, adding in a link to your page.
The wiki has many options to make your pages look nice! You can view the full syntax documentation on the Syntax page. This can always be found in the help section of the sidebar.
